Diet and exercise are also important as it has a part in maintaining the health of the body. Thus the theory goes that it will better be able to cope with the changes that menopause causes. For example the training of the body in a physical way gives it the strength to resist osteoporosis which has a greater chance of developing after the onset of menopause.
