With correct balance, breathing is optimized and muscles get more toned. This is all a circle and demonstrates just how connected every part of the body is! Whenever the body functions better, the state of mind will be better. Doing away with built-up muscle tension allows better blood circulation which means better use of oxygen. The lungs are more efficient and so is the brain. Thus, you can look forward to a crisp mind that is quicker and able to concentrate.
